I got a computer question about ctrl+alt+delete.?

Well i dunno if its a recent windows update but as of late when i hit ctrl+alt+delete instead of bringing up the regular task manager its bringing up a windows security box with ''lock computer, log off, shut down, change password, task manager, cancel.'' so im wondering is there a option somewhere, where i can change it back where it just opens up the task manager and not this windows security box with options?

It sounds like you have turned off fast user switching. Now instead of just bringing up task manager, you'll get the windows security console when you press ctrl-alt-del. This setting can be changed in the control panel under user accounts.

If you have an application that requires fast user switching to be disabled, a workaround is to press ctrl-shift-esc to bring up task manager in one key sequence.

Hope that helps!

That is the standard link for windows 2000.
i have it too..do you have windows vista? anyway just click task manager
I have got that too. Just go to task manager. Kinda dumb when you want the task manager. But still works.
No that is how the newer windows systems work. You just have to choose the task manager option to get to where you want.
not really sure but i would check the region of the keyboards language
