On our computer, we have a McAfee security system. Does anyone else who has McAfee think that it is a bit too secure with its security? I mean, I typed in the word ''Migraine'' in Wikipedia and it blocked the page. The same thing happened when I was on CNN...it blocked a page because the heading contained the word ''girlfriend''. I even typed the word ''McAfee'' on Wikipedia, and guess what? Yup, you guessed it! McAfee blocked its own page!
Does anyone else feel that McAfee is a bit too much? If you do, please tell me why.

Why all the questions? Try toptenreviews.com for your answer about which anti-virus software you should use (if that is your question).
In my opinion, (and most people nowadays) Kaspersky is probably the only program that has everything you need (and doesn't slow your pc down, which Macafee and Norton do).
Cheers,
Laurens.

Are you sure it's McAfee security doing that? Sounds like a porn filter to me. Anyway, I quit using the McAfee software that comes free with my ISP because I thought it was designed mainly to make sure you're a paying customer and only secondarily to secure my pc.
McAfee software is CRAP (and so is Norton, btw). Not only is it expensive (and they force you to renew every year to keep up-to date) but it bogs down your PC like crazy. Most of the stuff included in the ''security suite'' only succeeds in locking down your PC so tight you can't get anywhere (as you found out). Dump it and go get a free virus scanner, free spyware scanner, and use windows firewall. Your PC will run much faster and you will have many less headaches.
I had McAfee.
